Combat Shooting Targets

COMBAT SHOOTING TARGET RANGES SIMULATING DIFFERENT REAL-LIFE SITUATIONS

In order to improve the skill, speed and alertness of the personnel in the various armed forces in identifying and eliminating the enemy under various difficult situations in real life it is necessary to train them by simulating such situations with the help of automatically controlled combat shooting targets. Based upon the application a number of mechanized targets can be selected from different types of combat shooting targets manufactured by PRINTRONIX. Some of the proposed simulations are as per the following pages. The number and the type of the targets for these simulations can be changed based on individual requirements/choice. All the targets laid out to simulate the required situation can be controlled from a central control station located at a separate safe position near the site of operation.

While PRITRONIX supplies all the mechanized targets and controls and carries out the installation work, the complete civil work shall be in the scope of the customer.

QUICK ACTION MINIATURE RANGE

QMR 2100

For the Quick Action Miniature Range type QMR 2100 a ground of 20m width and 40m length is required. This range is suitable for a practice up to a distance of 25m only using maximum 12 targets. Different types of combat shooting targets can be arranged at the Butt end to offer general practice to the trainee shooters. The control station and the viewers’ gallery can be positioned behind the shooters. In case of space shortage the width can be reduced at the cost of the number of targets. The control station is programmable and the targets can be made to appear simultaneously with defined timings or in a random order without any defined timing.

PISTOL SHOOTING RANGE FOR POLICE DUTY MEET

PDM 2200

The Revolver/Pistol shooting competition for All India Police Duty Meet can be held on the electronic range PDM 2200. A suitable ground of minimum 20m width can be used for this range in which 8 No. Turning Targets type TUT 2003 with special target sheets can be arranged in row. The targets sheet can hold the standard human figure used for such competition. All the 4 matches for Revolver / Pistol shooting competition can be carried out with the help of Programmable Central Control Unit specially designed for the purpose. The controls and timings are exactly as per the requirement of the matches.

THE JUNGLE LANE SHOOTING RANGE
